So there's like, stuff, I am supposed to be doing. My email response list is super long, I have big bangs to write, editing to do, and a bunch of other random ha ha nonsense. Like school work. Or Macbeth essays to grade.

Just stuff ok? It's probably important.

But this weekend, to be specific in the next twenty or so minutes, my friends/siblings from the South will be arriving for one crazy over-booked night of haunted houses. This is like the foreplay for the big Haunted House weekend we'll be doing at the end of October in SC, so tonight is only like three houses. Unless we can fit in more. Either way, I've got this list we'll be paring down when they get here, and that's gonna be fun. We're taking a girl who was a student in the class I worked with last semester, and she's afraid of everything. Lotta laughing tonight, is the long and short of that, although I will be making sure to block her/punch monsters if need be. While laughing at her fear, because that is what friends do. It's true! I read it in a thing that was very truthful!

I just finished my shift at work, I'm totally sleep deprived, and things are a bit hazy right now. With that said, I'm pretty sure I know where my socks are. My special Halloween socks.

The point of this is I cannot go to sleep until they arrive, and I am very tired friends. Very tired indeed. If I go inside I will no doubt drift into a peaceful slumber from which I will not awaken until it is time to eat food and go to the miracle of Halloween, and I must be awake to gush with them over the joys of their being here, and the unparalleled excitement of potential chainsaws. There better be chainsaws. I will walk out if there aren't.
