I'm an oldies and alternative rock fan. I can get behind other stuff if there's a lyric or a beat that makes me stop and listen, but it's a long shot a lot of times. Piano, acoustic guitar, all of that can usually soothe me enough to listen.

So it is with a heavy heart and a major dose of shame that I admit that I have stupid Taylor Swift's goddamn "Trouble" song on repeat because Youtube loaded up somebody else's playlist and there it was. I hate the verse parts, but the hook has pushed me through this troublesome spot in the second chapter of the Lost Time sequel.

Goddamn Taylor Swift. I should finish writing this and commit seppuku. Why didn't I just load Pandora?

Also, does anybody know what happens if a story doesn't get claimed by an artist for a big bang? There's this one story on the list for the one I signed up for, and nobody's claiming it. From what I understand there were more artists than authors, and they promised a few people they could pick already chosen stories, but not until all the fics were claimed. It's been up there a while. Do they cancel it?

On the other hand, I visited Shametown after enjoying the first time I heard Justin Bieber's If I Was Your Boyfriend. Because I even downloaded it.

I will wear that paper bag, because I earned it. I seriously sat in front of my laptop making the most disgusted face the whole time, right up until the chorus/hook, and when my husband finally asked, "Well why the hell are you listening to it if you hate it?" My response was only, "Because it's helping me write the damn thing!"

It's a very bad virus, but you'll have to tell me if the product of it is any good. I'm going to give it the initial edit and then email it to you. :D
